Exciting Changes for 2010

I mentioned in an earlier post that I would be announcing some new changes coming in 2010. I don't want to give too much away for now. But as I mentioned I will be updating my blog & website. I also have a new logo that I LOVE. I think it really portrays my style and encompasses my brand. Speaking of my style & brand, while working on updating my look, I have been thinking really hard about what I feel my style is. I have to admit this was not an easy task. I mean my style is my style ... LOL! But, that's why I have really decided to put emphasis on my tag line "portraits of life" because I really feel that describes my style. I want my portraits to capture moments and tell stories about your life. So tell me, when you think of my style what few words come to your mind? Leave me a comment below. I'd love to hear what you have to say. In the coming weeks I will begin to announce more changes you can expect in 2010. But for now, here's a peek at my new logo coming soon to my blog & website!

New Prodcut Announcement - ALBUMS

I have yet another amazing product to announce. I've been wanting to offer albums for some time now but unfortunately couldn't find one met my quality standards without breaking the bank. But after MUCH searching, I finally found an album that I love and I know you will too!

Most of you know that I already offer storybooks and you may be thinking so what's the big difference. Storybooks are affordable and excellent quality but they are press printed. Whereas my new albums are 8"x8", printed on high quality professional photo paper, mounted then bound in a book. The new album's lay flat style, allow for a single image to stretch across two pages without a gutter making a striking presentation. Plus they have custom photo covers and spines. Honestly these new albums are breathtaking and you must see them in person to appreciate how awesome they truly are. Speaking of seeing them in person, I have decided to start carrying samples of my products to my sessions. So if I forget to show you, please ask to see all goodies I now offer.

'09 Christmas Card Designs

Here they are, the much anticipated '09 Christmas card designs. These are 5x7 double sided press printed cards on card stock with plain white envelopes. They will be available for purchase in sets of 25 for $45/set.

So go ahead pick the design you love, and your favorite images from our session. Email me your choices, I'll send you a proof and then I'll get them ordered ASAP.

A few notes, cards must be ordered no later than 11/27 to guarantee holiday delivery. These cards are the only ones I'll be doing this year due to time constraints. That means no custom design orders. Sorry!

I am looking for some newborn twins to photograph. Here's the deal: I will come to your home and do a complete session for FREE! Plus you will also receive a $25 print credit towards the prints of your choice. The only catch is the twins must be no older than 14 days and you must be willing to sign a model release form so the images may be used on my website, blog etc...

New proof system!

Well, as the title suggests I have a brand new proofing system that I am thrilled to launch! If you have previously had a gallery from me you know the deal. Small thumbnails were on the left and you clicked your way through your proofs. Well now, your proofs are as large as your screen can be view. Plus you can choose either a slide show format or click on your proofs one at a time or both! And if that wasn't cool enough, I am now going to offer you the option to view your own custom video set to music. Like a little commercial featuring you! How cool is that! Wanted: Class of 2010 Senior Reps

I am currently looking for 2010 senior reps* from each of the following schools:
Tourtellotte High School
Putnam High School
Woodstock Academy



How it works:
As a senior rep*, you will be given a free mini session in May. From this session I will create rep cards like the one above. You will then receive 56 wallet sized cards to hand out to all you friends and fellow 2010 seniors. In early summer, you will be given a FREE full 2 hour session**, 2 locations with unlimited wardrobe changes. Then you will receive a $10 print credit for each person you refer. (Upon completion of their session.) Plus, the person you refer will receive 8 FREE wallets too. It's that easy and a great way to get your senior pictures done for free. Don't delay, as spots are limited and sure to fill up fast!

*Senior reps are required to have a signed model release prior to any sessions.
**FREE session does not include prints. All prints and boutique items may be purchased separately.

The prices are ready!

As I mentioned before, there has been a lot of interest in digital prices. So after much, thought and careful calculations here they are:

Individual Digital Images*: $25 each

The complete digital session*: $400
Digital session requires $200 at or before your session with the balance due upon receipt of completed DVD's. The fee is for my time and talent, up to 1.5 hours at the location of your choice and 4-6 hours of hand editing and retouching of your images. With a minimum of 20 fully edited proofs. You will also receive your entire collection of proofs set to music and showcased in a custom animated slideshow and presented in a beautiful photo case. Also included with this package, you will be able to purchase any prints you'd like at a 10% discount of the a la carte prices.

*All digital images are edited, retouched and processed by hand. This is a time consuming process which requires careful attention to detail. All files will be burned to DVD in high resolution jpeg format. Also, please note for best results these images should be printed at a high quality professional lab.

Digital packages and pricing

Many of you have inquired about digital packages and pricing. Honestly, I hadn't really given it much thought before, but considering that everyone seems so interested, I decided I should figure it out . . . literally! LOL! Anyway, I hope to announce my new digital packages and pricing next week, so stay tuned!

Christmas update...

Just wanted to let you all know that the mini sessions are all booked and I only have a few November session dates left. I will not be booking any December sessions. I will be taking and filling orders though. December 15th is the ABSOLUTE LATEST date that orders will be excepted for Christmas delivery. Christmas Mini Session Update

You may remember I posted awhile back about doing Christmas mini sessions. Well, I FINALLY have the details ironed out... sorry it took so long! Things have been insane around here! LOL! Anyway, here's the deal, I will be doing mini sessions on

Saturday, November 15
at Yurechko Tree Farm in Griswold, CT

They will be 30 minutes instead of an hour. The cost will be $25 instead of $50. You will receive 10 of the best images in online gallery just like a regular session. It's a great opportunity to get that perfect shot for your Christmas cards or just to get some recent pictures to pass out for the holidays! It's sure to be a fun day!
