What's a smash the cake session?

Some of you may be wondering, "What's a smash the cake session?". So I thought I should explain. A smash the cake session is to celebrate a baby turning one. I use a small cake and basically let the baby go to town while I photograph the entire time. These type of sessions can be customized specifically for your child, boy or girl, and we can incorporate this session into a standard one hour session or a mini 30 minute session just for this purpose. (This session can be in studio or on location.) The choice is yours. It makes great pictures for birthday invites, storyboards & story books. (See examples below.)
