2 Sweet Families

This morning I had a fun session with two sisters and their families. It ended up being a beautiful day so we were able to shoot both inside and outside. Which is always great. Deadlines & Vacation!

Hey All-
I just wanted to remind everyone that the holiday order deadline is December 7th. All orders must be placed on or before then to guarantee holiday delivery. Also, I will be on vacation from December 15th - January 4th. When I return on the 5th, I will answer all emails and resume shooting. And you all know I can't post without pictures, so here's a few more faves from Mini Sessions. Enjoy!

Now Booking '10

I am officially booked solid for '09 and will not be taking anymore sessions this year. The only exception will be newborns (babies under 2 weeks of life) due to the time sensitive nature of those sessions. I feel bad refusing all those that have contacted me over the past few weeks but really I just can't physically do anymore than I've already committed to. The good news, I am now booking '10. So if you missed your chance at an '09 session, consider booking for '10. I will continue shooting outside all winter... yes you read that right. Weather permitting, I will still be doing outdoor sessions and I am looking forward to snow sessions in particular. Contact me for more info if you are interested.

Mini Sessions '09

Yesterday was my much anticipated mini session day. We had such a great day! The weather was perfect, as always my families were awesome and so was my rockin' assistant Jenn! Thanks so much to all of you! And now, the sneak peeks. Enjoy!

Going Green in 2010

In previous posts, I've been discussing the changes I'm making for 2010. Another change, I am very excited about is going green! I care about our planet and our children's future and I believe it important for all of us to do our part, however big or small it may be.

Previously I've welcomed all my clients with huge info packets in the mail, packaged all my orders with large boxes using loads of tissue paper etc... And while all these things look nice they really are wasteful.

In 2010, I will be creating online welcome packets for my clients. So now you will receive all your session info via PDF format on your computer. No more wasted paper or envelopes! All release forms and contracts will be signed digitally online as well. Another bonus, now you won't need to remember to bring them to your session! ;)

I've been working hard on coming up with green package solutions that were also top quality and still beautiful. So don't think you'll be getting orders in flimsy paper bags, LOL! I've found these GORGEOUS recycled card stock portfolios to present my orders in. Wait til you see them, I just know you'll love them!

I am also having all my new business cards and stationery printed on recycled card stock. I know all these things may seem small and simple, but again I truly believe every little bit counts. Stay tuned to the blog for more exciting 2010 news!

Mr. D - one cute little man!

Yesterday, I had a fun session with the adorable "Mr. D". Alright, he's my nephew so I am a little biased, LOL! But isn't he just the cutest? Anyway, we had a great morning and got some awesome shots. Here's a few for now. Enjoy!
